Born in Guatamala into a family of 18 children, Amie was the only child put up for adoption by her single mother. Prayer and trust in God lead Amie’s Canadian foster parents to their little girl, who would grow up to found Nationwares, an eco/fair trade fashion company that employs men and women from poverty-stricken regions. Through her company these individuals are given an opportunity at a better life. This, Amie believes, is God’s mission for her. This is me TV follows Amie as she prepares for a High School fashion show, inspiring others to follow in her footsteps.
